The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) General
Secretary has recognised a slight shift in the US attitude towards
solving the AO/Dioxin dilemma in Vietnam.
The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange /dioxin (VAVA) has
welcomed the action plan of the Vietnam-US Dialogue Group on AO/dioxin
to mobilise 300 million USD for the next ten years.
The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) issued a
statement on April 13 protesting a worldwide event to be held on April
18
sponsored by several US producers of toxic chemicals used in the
American war in
Vietnam.
Vietnamese AO victims’ ongoing struggle
for justice will be successful, said State President Nguyen Minh Triet
at a charity art progamme entitled “ Justice and Heart” held in Hanoi
on August 8.
