A special concert dedicated to pianist and pedagogue Thai Thi Lien, sole survivor among the seven founders of the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM) will be held on November 23.
Phillips Exeter Academy (PEA)’s acclaimed Concert Choir and Chamber
Orchestra will make a 14-day tour of Vietnam in celebrating the 20th
anniversary of the normalisation of the US – Vietnam diplomatic
relations, according to the US embassy in Hanoi.

orchestral piece performed by the Berliner Symphoniker at Philharmonie
Hall, Berlin, on February 24.
Renowned Thai and Vietnamese saxophonists will perform on August 5 at
the HCM City Opera House to celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic
relations between the two countries (August 6, 1976-2011).
Vietnam won three second prizes and two third prizes at the
international piano competition, which was held in Vietnam for the
first time from September 5-12.
