one of Japan ’s top artisans, will be on display alongside works of 10
local artists at the second Ikebana Festival that will open at Hanoi ’s
Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam on Dec. 5.
The 2009 International Gong Festival
will be organised for the first time in the Central Highlands province
of Gia Lai’s Pleiku city from November 12-15.
Numerous activities, including cultural and arts exhibitions,
and performances will be held from Oct. 8-18 at the Hanoi ancient
citadel relic to mark the 999 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and
the 55 th liberation day of the capital city (Oct. 10).
