People returning to Hanoi are subject to compulsory medical declaration after the four-day public holidays lasting from April 30 to May 3, according to a document on COVID-19 prevention and control work issued on May 2 by the Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee.
The Ministry of Transport has asked for compulsory medical declarations for all passengers on domestic flights and public transport. , In response, Hanoi has also applied the requirement at all bus stations in order to early detect and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The Ministry of Transport recently sent an urgent document to provincial departments in this field, guiding the prompt implementation of the compulsory medical declaration in the domestic flights and public means of transport, in an attempt to discover COVID-19 cases and prevent the spread of the disease at an early date.
All of the passengers entering Vietnam will have to undergo a 14-day concentrated quarantine period as from 0:00 on March 21, according to the Ministry of Transport.
