Vietnam's central province of Quang Binh and Khammoune province of Laos have recently signed an agreement aimed at boosting their friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

Vice Chairman of the Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Truc had a working session with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on November 17, discussing cooperation orientation in development of smart cities, environmental protection, energy and job creation in the next five years.

As a reliable partner and responsible member of the international community, Vietnam has actively participated in and effectively contributed to the Mekong – Lancang Cooperation (MLC) mechanism from the very first days of its establishment, stated Permanent Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son.
