Vietnam set to grow GM crops next year

Cultivation of genetically-modified (GM) new strains are expected to start next year, with a target to expand the area under cultivation of GM crops to between 30 percent and 50 percent of the total farmland by 2020, the English language news portal VietNamNet Bridge quoted an agriculture researcher as saying.
