Cyber safety and security is a global issue that needs a global approach, and as the issue affects all people, the approach should also take into consideration the interest of all people, stated Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh while chairing the first meeting of the National Steering Committee on Cyber Security and Safety in Hanoi on April 7.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, on January 12, held a ceremony to announce a decision on the establishment of its new devision for cyber security and high-tech crime prevention and control.
The national steering committee for cyber safety and security made its debut and convened its first meeting in Hanoi on November 24 under the chair of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also head of the committee.
