Escalating trade tensions and rising protectionism have caused a formidable pressure on Vietnamese steel sector, according to insiders.

A kaleidoscope of Vietnamese cultures, traditional practices and breathtaking world heritage sites are featured at the “Vietnam-Cultural Colours” exhibition, which is scheduled for August 18-21 in the south central province of Phu Yen.

Domestic businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need further support from state management agencies to better compete in the context of deep global integration, said Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc.
