Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue chaired a quarterly meeting of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council in Hanoi on December 27.

The central province of Quang Tri fulfilled all of its set socio-economic targets in 2018 and posted an annual economic growth of 7.12 percent, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was reported at a working session with local authorities on January 22.

The southern hub of Ho Chi Minh City aims to achieve 19 socio-economic targets in 2017, especially economic growth of 8.4 – 8.7 percent.

The People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City opened the 20 th session, the last in the eighth tenure (2011 – 2016), on December 8.
