Schools across Ho Chi Minh City will welcome students back starting from May 4 after a three-and-a-half month break, while beauty spas and entertainment facilities will remain in shutdown.
Starting from 18:00 on March 24, Ho Chi Minh City temporarily shut down all public entertainment facilities, restaurants, fitness clubs and beauty salons to slow the spread of Covid-19.
The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on late March 14 ordered the suspension of operations of local entertainment facilities starting from 6pm on March 15 to March 31 as an effort to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
