Vietnam’s total coal export volume in the first four months of the year surged five times from the same time last year to more than 544,000 tonnes, according to the General Department of Customs.
Vietnam shipped abroad an estimated 193,000 tonnes of rubber for 392 million USD in the first two months of this year, up 25.4 percent in volume and 2.4 times in value year-on-year.
The agro-forestry-fisheries export turnover in April was estimated at 2.97 billion USD, bringing the four-month figure to over 10 billion USD, up 11 percent against the same period last year.
Vietnam’s peppercorn shipments to foreign markets performed well, with the January-November period’s export revenue close to that recorded in 2014, reported a conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Dec.1.
