Textile and garment exports to the US is likely to reach 11
billion USD this year, said Dang Phuong Dung, Vice Chairwoman of the
Vietnam Garment and Apparel Association.
Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports to countries negotiating the TPP agreement in the first five months of this year increased 69.66 percent compared to the same period last year.

The southern province of Bac Lieu posted a 4 percent growth in seafood
export value in the first six months of this year to earn 212 million
USD despite a 2 percent drop in export volume to 18,749 tonnes.
Vietnam exported 77.7 billion USD worth of commodities during the first
half of 2015, a year-on-year increase of 9.3 percent, the General
Statistics Office estimated.
