Vacationers, at home and abroad, swarmed around places of attractions
across Vietnam during the six-day holiday starting from April 28 to
celebrate the 40th anniversary of southern liberation and national
liberation (April 30).
The central Da Nang city has reserved more than 16,000 rooms in
preparation for the seventh Da Nang International Fireworks Competition
on April 28 and 29.
Formosa group from Taiwan (China) said it is considering investing in
four projects in Quang Binh following a recent meeting with provincial
authorities.
Around 3,200 rooms in six four- and five-star hotels will enter the
market in Nha Trang this year, according to property services provider
Savills Vietnam.
Hanoi’s hotel market, particularly the five-star segment, performed
well through peak season in the last quarter of 2014, reported the

province of Khanh Hoa expects to welcome 97,000 visitors for the
holidays marking National Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day.
The tourism sector of the
central province of Khanh Hoa is ready to welcome an estimated 154,000
tourists, including 35,000 foreigners, in the first lunar week of the
Year of the Horse (January 31-February 5).
Central Khanh Hoa province, home to world-known Nha Trang Beach, is set
to get 10 four-star and five-star hotels with nearly 3,000 rooms in 2014
and the next few years as the province hopes to attract more
well-heeled travellers.
With three new five-star hotels to be put into service this year, the
high-end accommodation supply in Ho Chi Minh City will be abundant and
the room rates may not increase, according to a local newspaper.
