National athletes Nguyen Thi Oanh and Do Quoc Luat met no difficulty in winning the first Vietnam International Half Marathon, the first sporting event of the year on January 1 in Hanoi.
The annual race #Run4WildlifeHN will return to Hanoi on November 6 after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said Education for Nature – Vietnam (ENV), the country’s first non-governmental organisation focusing on wildlife conservation.
Nearly 3,000 athletes took part in Tay Ho Half Marathon 2021 organised by the People’s Committee of Hanoi’s Tay Ho district on April 17. Of these, more than 1,000 people competed in half marathon.
