The World Bank made public a report on improving Vietnam’s land transport and a strategy on sustainable development of inland waterway transport in the country at a workshop in Hanoi on March 28.

Vietnam’s maritime and inland waterway transport continue to suffer from the lack of sustainable inland ports and planning for container depots.

Management activities on inland waterway transport should be further enhanced to ensure traffic safety.
