A series of international exhibitions on industrial machines and equipment kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on October 16.

As many as 118 businesses across the country and from Laos and Thailand are showcasing their latest products and technologies in industrial production and processing at the Quang Binh international trade fair 2019, which opened in the central coastal province on May 30.

Vietnam recorded a trade surplus of 3.1 billion USD as of April 15, 2018, according to the latest statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

About 400 businesses from 25 countries and territories are showcasing their products at the 12th Pharmed & Health Care Vietnam (Pharmedi 2017), which opened in HCM City on September 20.

Vietnam is a potential market to which Indian businesses are seeking opportunities to boost export of textile machines and equipment, said N.D. Mhatre, Director General (Technical) of the Indian Textile Accessories and Machinery Manufacturers Association (ITAMMA).
