Cambodia exported 153,688 tonnes of milled rice in the first quarter of 2021, a year-on-year drop of 33 percent, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Veng Sakhon has said.
Cambodia exported around 1.56 million tonnes of non-rice agricultural products with sanitary and phyto-sanitary certificates in the first two months of 2021, a year-on-year surge of 55.3 percent, said Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Veng Sakhon.
Cambodia shipped 11,200 tonnes of organic milled rice abroad in 2020, a 1.2-percent increase over 2019, according to the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF).
Cambodia exported a total of 690,829 tonnes of milled rice to 60 countries and regions in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 11.4 percent, the country’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Veng Sakhon has announced.
