The death toll from Typhoon Vamco in the Philippines has risen to 42, Philippine authorities said on November 13.

Thai media reported on July 29 that eight people have been killed after a landslide hit Baan Huay Khab village in the northern Thai province of Nan a day earlier.

Mudslides and flooding triggered by typhoon Tembin killed 208 people and left 164 missing in southern Philippines as of afternoon of December 24, two days after the storm swept through Mindanao island.

The northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has mobilised over 4,000 people, including army soldiers, police, militias and local residents, in search for missing people after a severe flash flood swept through the province on October 11.
