Opportunities to export to the US and the US’s requirements for imported food and pharmaceuticals were brought to light during a seminar held in Hanoi on April 11.

The National Assembly (NA) continued the 11th meeting with a plenum on March 25, focusing on the draft revised laws on pharmaceuticals and import and export duties.

Vietnam spends about 3.4 billion USD on medication every year, officials of the Ministry of Health said on March 16.

The northern province of Ha Nam plans to attract 180 trillion VND (8 billion USD) in investments between 2016 and 2020, said an official of the province's Department of Planning and Investment.
