The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has received petitions on an anti-dumping investigation into polyethylene retail carrier bags (plastic bags) from Vietnam, reported the Department of Trade Defence

The US has decided to continue applying anti-dumping duties on imports of polyethylene (PE) retail carrier bags from Vietnam and some other countries.

The US continues to impose countervailing duty (CVD) as well as old duty rates on polyethylene retail carrier bags (plastic bags) from Vietnam after the first sunset review on the duty in May.
