Vietnam spent nearly 190 million USD on importing about 89,000 tonnes of pork in the first ten months of this year, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

A delegation of the US National Pork Board (NPB) has visited Vietnam recently to seek ways to increase pork export to Vietnam, a large market which consumed around 1.8 million tonnes of pork in 2017, or 57 percent of the total meat market.
