The Authority of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) revealed on June 2 that a second mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) will soon debut in Vietnam.
Indochina Telecom Company on April 25 in Hanoi launched Vietnam's first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) – Itelecom, becoming the sixth telecoms provider in the country.
The capital city of Hanoi will change the 11-digit telephone numbers to 10-digit ones from September 15, stated the municipal Department of Information and Communications on June 14.
Nearly 60 million subscribers will have to change their 11-digit phone numbers to 10 digits from September 15, 2018 to June 30, 2019, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.

(Gtel Mobile) announced that its network, Beeline, will become
operational on July 20 with the prefix number of 0199.
