Schools from primary to senior high levels in Ho Chi Minh City began to welcome back students on August 22 after the summer holiday.

A decision of the Hanoi People’s Committee to allow the reopening of pre-schools from April 13 has received consensus from a majority of parents and teachers.

Hanoi has been advised to re-open preschools and primary schools.

Ho Chi Minh City preschools will reopen after Tet (traditional Lunar New Year) after more than half a year of closure due to COVID-19 outbreak, but children’s attendance has been left to their parents’ discretion.
