Vietnam and Qatar discussed concrete measures to intensify their
multifaceted cooperation—particularly in politics-diplomacy, trade,
investment, and labour—during the first political consultation held
between the two foreign ministries in Hanoi on February 11.
The 90 million-strong and accessible market of Vietnam is a promising
destination for Egyptian enterprises, said Ambassador to Egypt Dao Thanh
Chung at a conference on May 29 in Alexandria city.
Vietnam-China bilateral trade turnover
is expected to hit 25 billion USD this year based on a growth rate of
between 20-25 percent in trade between the two countries in recent
years.
Building and developing Vietnamese trademarks was on the agenda of a
workshop
held in the central city of Da Nang on Mar. 26 by the European Chamber
of
Commerce (EuroCham) in Vietnam.
Vietnam and the United States have
pledged to boost the development of sea ports and transportation
services at their two ports of Can Tho and Houston to raise trade value
between the two countries.
Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have
agreed to elevate their relationship to that of a strategic cooperative
partnership for peace, stability and development.
