The central city of Da Nang recorded a hike of 8.6% in industrial production in the first 11 months of this year, reported the municipal Statistics Office on December 1.

Total retail sales of goods and services in Vietnam reached nearly 4.4 quadrillion VND (191 billion USD) in 2018, representing a rise of 11.7 percent against the previous year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Apart from impressive growth of industrial production index, trade and service activities in the seven months of this year were fairly active as local spending grew.
