Buddhist monk Thich The Tuong has been working hard to turn his one
hectare farm into a bamboo conservatory on the Son Tra Mountain in
central Da Nang city, which protects over 110 bamboo species.
Two conservation and restoration projects in Vietnam have been
singled out for excellence in the 2013 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage
Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation announced on September 3.
Both political and business circles from the Baden-Wurttemberg State
of Germany hailed Vietnam as an international investment attraction
at a workshop in its Pforzheim city on May 10.
