Governmental bodies have been asked to balance their budget estimates to generate fund for basic salary increase in 2016 according to the Prime Minister’s decision 2100/QD-TTg.
A meeting of the National Salary Council on August 5 failed to reach agreement on increasing the regional minimum wage in 2016 and the council is scheduled to meet again in the next two weeks.
Recruitment of new employees should be done in a transparent manner,
with salary ranges advertised clearly for positions, speakers said at a
recent meeting in Ho Chi Minh City.
