A satellite hospital project has helped reduce patient overloads at hospitals, especially at central-level facilities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in its five years of implementation, heard a conference in Hanoi on November 15.
The Ministry of Health has synchronously implemented measures to ease patient overload in hospitals over the past five years, contributing to improving the quality of health check-ups and treatment, said Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien.
The Mekong Delta city of Can Tho aims to lower the HIV infection rate in the locality to less than 0.3 percent in 2018, said Deputy Director of the municipal Health Department Cao Minh Chu.
