The American people now have the chance to learn more about
Vietnamese fine arts, as well as its culture, when ‘Arts of Ancient
Vietnam: From River Plain to Open Sea’ opens at the Museum of Fine Arts
in Houston (MFAH), Texas.
Some well-known artist are display their latest paintings and
sculptures to mark the August Revolution and Nation Day, to be
celebrated early next month at an annual exhibition that opened in HCM
City on Aug.27.
The Hanoi Department of Trade on August
4 kicked off an exposition of fine arts and handicraft for exports, the
very first kind ever held in the city, in the hope of finding new
outlets for local craft makers.
