The capital city has implemented many high-tech agricultural production models in order to move towards smart agriculture. However, the city will have to pay more attention to promoting the application of science and technology as well as training high-quality labour resources.
Malaysia plans to review its approach to agriculture by modernising the sector and adopting smart farming to boost farmers’ income and advance the sector.
The agriculture ministry has devised measures to turn Vietnam into one of the world’s most 15 developed countries in terms of agriculture by 2030, and among the top 10 farm produce processing hubs.
The Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRC), the Republic of Korea’s leading state-run group on rural development, will invest in smart agriculture in Vietnam regarding seeds that are immunised against diseases, CEO Kim In Sik said on July 12.
Ready-to-eat tomatoes, and lettuce, grown without soil, and consumed unwashed, are the future in Vietnam and people will soon have the chance to experience this form of ‘smart agriculture’.
