Vinh Phuc’s information and communications sector has been striving to develop telecom infrastructure and improve service quality in the province over recent years, which in turn has had positive effects on the growth of all other sectors.

Telecom service providers sent over 15 billion text messages regarding COVID-19 control and prevention during the first half of 2020 and received donations via text for victims of the pandemic totalling 152 billion VND (6.58 million USD).

Vietnam and Cambodia have signed three cooperation agreements on postal services and telecommunications, information safety and digital signature.
