Businesses and small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in Ho Chi Minh
City are trying to solve a labour shortage, because workers have quit
in hope of better pay after Lunar New Year holidays, according to the
Centre for Labour Market Information and Human Resource Forecast.
The Republic of Korea (RoK) Embassy’s Trade and Investment Promotion
Agency in Hanoi (KOTRA Hanoi) will arrange for a delegation of
Vietnamese businesspeople to attend an international textile-garment
exhibition and fashion festival to be held in Busan city, RoK, in
mid-October.
The textile and garment sector's export value is expected to earn 7.5
billion USD during the first nine months, a 17 percent increase against
the same period last year, reports the Vietnam Textile and Apparel
Association.
