More than 1,300 Shan Tuyet tea plants in Ha Giang province and a group of valuable timber trees in Dak Nong province have been recognised as “Vietnam Heritage Trees”.
To fulfil the goal of planting 2,500 hectares of timber trees in 2022, many enterprises in the northern province of Quang Ninh donated money and seedlings. The period from July to the end of September is the best time to plant trees in the reforestation efforts for the province.
More than 1,000 trees of five species of native timber trees and wild plants have been planted on 20,000sq.m in the Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve as part of an effort to improve the habitats of elephants and other wildlife.
