There were 259 new COVID-19 cases nationwide, the lowest in the past four days, including one fatality from the south central province of Binh Thuan, reported the Health Ministry on November 19.
The number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the past 24 hours from 4pm February 9 to 4pm February 10 to a record 26,032, including 9 imported cases, up over 2,000 cases from the previous day, according to the Ministry of Health.
A COVID-19 patient, who also suffered from diabetes type 1, long-time debilitation and heart failure, died in the morning of August 11, becoming the 16th fatality in the country.
