Vietnam's growing tourism industry and thriving economy have drawn interest in the country's hotel and resort market from investors across the region.

The central province of Nghe An has attracted a great number of tourism development projects over the last four years, especially those in ecotourism, related to accommodation and infrastructure, and resort tourism.

The number of tourist arrivals to the northern province of Ninh Binh hit 6.3 million in the first nine months of this year, up 4.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

The northern province of Ninh Binh is striving to become one of the tourism hubs of Vietnam by 2020 and to turn tourism into a spearhead industry of the local economy by 2030.
