Da Nang on January 22 welcomed a group of more than 700 visitors taking a Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tour, one of the largest groups on such a tour to the central city this year.
Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism and the HCM City Tourism Association have launched a tourism programmes aiming to give free city tours to 5,000 orphans and disabled children, poor households and policy beneficiaries from 24 districts.
More than 100 companies have registered to join a domestic tourism stimulation programme launched by the capital city of Hanoi, the municipal Tourism Department said on November 19.
“Stimulating tourism demand – Experiencing safe, attractive Vietnam” was theme of a conference co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism’s Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and newswire VnExpress in Hanoi on September 24.
