Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and the visiting Secretary of the Party Committee of China’s Hainan province, Shen Xiaoming, reached consensus on measures to strengthen trade ties at a meeting in Hanoi on February 22.
Over the past 25 years, the economic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have flourished, but the trade imbalance between the two countries has reached an alarming level.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on September 11 affirmed that the Vietnam – Republic of Korea relations and cooperation have been developing vigorously and effectively in every field since the state-visit to Vietnam by RoK President Moon Jae-in earlier this year.
