Domestic passenger transportation services will resume from 0:00 on May 8 to meet people's traveling demand as the COVID-19 epidemic is under control in Vietnam, said the Ministry of Transport.
Storm Son Tinh, the third occurring in the East Sea so far this year, had caused losses worth nearly 270 billion VND (11.65 million USD) to national and provincial roads as of July 25, according to the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam (DRVN).
The Ministry of Transport has instructed relevant agencies to closely monitor fees charged by carriers to ensure the decrease in fuel prices is factored in.
