Trains on the Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station metro line were put on a trial run at a maximum speed of 80 km per hour on December 6. The trains departed from the S1 Station (Nhon) and ran to S8 Station (Cau Giay district) and returned. The distance between the two stations is 8.5 km.
Construction for the first ground floor (B1) at Ba Son station, part of Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line No.1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), was completed one month earlier than the set deadline.
Construction of a 4-km underground section of the Hanoi urban railway line No.3 (Nhon-Hanoi Station) will commence after May 1, with four underground stations from Station 9 in Kim Ma to Station 12 in Hanoi Station.
Metro project No.3 from Nhon to Hanoi railway station in the capital city will begin to have its underground stations drilled in early 2020, and the work is scheduled to be completed the same year.
Ho Chi Minh City is speeding up the construction of metro route No.1, Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien, according to the city’s Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR).
