An electronic vaccine passport is an electronic certificate of COVID-19 vaccination issued to people by the MOH, using standards set by the World Health Organization and the European Union.
The Ministry of Health on April 19 asked vaccination facilities and health agencies to quickly complete the database on people vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of this month so that they could get the vaccine passport.
The Health Ministry begins to issue vaccine passports on April 15 in line with schedule. Vietnam’s vaccine passport follows standards issued by the World Health Organisation and the EU which are being applied by 62 nations.
