Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang on March 17 reaffirmed that ensuring security and safety for the lives and assets of Vietnamese citizens in Ukraine is the top priority of the Party, State, and Government of Vietnam.
The first flight repatriating 287 Vietnamese people evacuated from war zones in Ukraine landed at Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport at noon on March 8.
About 460 Vietnamese citizens in Ukraine have been evacuated to neighbouring countries in the face of the complicated situation there, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
