The Ministry of Education and Training has called for the further
involvement of teachers, education managers and students to foster the
national target programme for rural water supply and environmental
sanitation.
The Ham Luong Bridge i ntensified high pressure pumping station

Salt water filtration systems installed in the island of Song Tu Tay,
off the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, have proven effective in
bringing fresh water to local islanders.
The southern province of Kien Giang is working on a
pre-feasibility report on a water supply project in the island district
of Phu Quoc, according to Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s
Committee Le Khac Ghi.
The Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) has provided 900 water tanks to 900 poor and
ethnic minority households in Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Phu
Yen provinces in response to the region’s ongoing droughts.
