The US, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), has provided 100,000 USD in immediate humanitarian aid supporting response efforts to severe flooding in Cambodia.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to provide 2,000 tonnes of rice from the national reserve as food aid to residents in the central provinces of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh who suffered from serious flooding.

Flooding caused by the recent storms in Laos has left at least 46 dead, 97 missing and four injured, according to the country’s National Disaster Prevention and Control Committee.
