Domestic enterprises, especially those led by women, have contributed greatly to the completion of the twin targets set by the Government amidst the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, head of the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MDS) Pham Khanh Linh has said.
Women account for 20 percent of Vietnamese entrepreneurs and the proportion is expanding, said Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Vu Tien Loc at a forum held in Hanoi on October 23.
The number of Vietnamese women in senior positions in public companies is still very small, but the picture does appear brighter if one looks at Vietnam's largest companies.
