The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) had by
the end of July purchased nearly 2.2 billion kWh of power from China, a
13.2 percent rise compared to the same period last year.
Despite Brasil’s import being reduced
under the influence of the global financial crisis, Vietnam ’s exports
to the country in the first half of 2009 topped 80 million USD, a
year-on-year increase of 5.72 percent.
CPI in July rose by 0.52 percent
against June and 3.31 percent compared to the same period last year,
the General Statistics Office (GSO) has reported.
Trade officials from Vietnam and China ’s Hainan province on July 9 inked a
memorandum of understanding following discussions, vowing to further boost the
