The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a new circular on exempting tax for imported agricultural materials used in prioritised investment projects in accordance with the Government’s decree on this matter, according to the Government Portal.

The circular, which replaces earlier related regulations, took effect on February 7, 2014.

Accordingly, exempted items in forest planting and development include seedlings, veterinary medicines, plant protection products, fertilisers and plant care chemicals.

The exemption is also granted to offspring, seeds, eggs, offspring’s foods, veterinary medicines, plant protection products, fertilisers, offspring care chemicals and materials to create the environment for raising the offspring.
