gathered at a meeting to boost friendship between the two sides.
At the meeting, held by the Tay Ninh People’s Committee, the participants, including representatives from the Cambodian provinces of Kongpongcham, Prayveng and Svayrieng, discussed cooperation on economic development, national security and the fight against social evils.
Vietnam and Cambodia implemented numerous cooperation activities in 2009, including the search for remains of those fallen in combat, agricultural development and economic growth in border areas, especially at Moc Bai and Xa Mat border gates.
In particular, in 2009, 30 locations were marked out for planting border markers, raising the total number of markers between Tay Ninh and adjacent Cambodian provinces to 40./.
