Tay Ninh supports firms to resume post-pandemic production

Tay Ninh (VNA) - The Department of Planning and Investment of the southern province of Tay Ninh has adopted many solutions and held dialogues with local and foreign-invested businesses in order to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles facing businesses to help them recover production.

The provincial authorities also pay attention to enhancing trade promotion activities, facilitating the transport and distribution of goods between localities, and taking measures to ensure timely and stable supply of raw materials and energy for production and business activities.

The provincial Department of Planning and Investment has focused on simplifying administrative procedures and conditions for businesses to access the Government's support packages and preferential loans of credit institutions.

Tay Ninh is developing infrastructure of industrial zones and clusters, and investing in the road system to facilitate transport of goods between industrial parks and economic zones and provinces and cities, as well as facilities for electricity and water supply, drainage, telecommunications and wastewater treatment in industrial zones and economic zones.

Due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tay Ninh’s socio-economic development has been remarkably affected, especially industrial sectors, commercial activities, transportation services, and agriculture.

The locality has accelerated the COVID-19 vaccination programme, with priorities giving to drivers and workers in enterprises producing essential goods, farm produce processing, transportation and key industries of the province./.
