Since its inception, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park has become an incubator for innovation and a centre for technology transfer in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region.
This is a flood warning device which collects data from a pressure sensor chip. Based on the level of flooding around the city, the device will send a warning message to users via mobile apps.
The device, produced by the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, has been installed in 15 flooding “hot spots” in the city.
The Saigon Hi-Tech Park is boosting and integrating programmes to develop private sector and business into incubator development ones.
The park targets a production value of high-tech products of 14 billion USD this year and over 20 billion USD by 2020.-VNA
