Local people in Ao Dai (traditional long gown) look cheerful while indulging themselves in the splendid and magnificent space of the festival.

Life in Ho Chi Minh City has been revived after more than three months it entered the new normal phase. Local people are awaiting for a new year with great happiness.


Highlights of the festival are a blooming yellow apricot garden and Ong do  (calligrapher) street together with calligraphy and sculpture booths, bringing the nostalgia of traditional Tet holiday to those living in the era of the fourth Industrial Revolution.


Besides entertainment activities, the Tet festival also features various programmes such as delivering Tet gifts to disadvantaged people, wrapping chung cake, and giving lucky money to migrant workers and children orphaned by COVID-19.

The festival will run until January 31, or December 29th of the lunar calendar./.
